Congratulations on finishing our deliverability section in our Email Basic Setting! Here's our checklist:

• Warm Up Your Email List: Before sending emails to a list with over 10,000 profiles inactive for more than 3 months, warm up your list. Sending to such a list abruptly may lead to spam flags

• Segment Your Campaigns: Divide your campaigns into segments based on engagement, like those engaged in the last 30 or 60 days. Avoid sending campaigns to your entire list.

• Optimize Image File Sizes: Ensure image file sizes are reasonable to prevent slow email loading, which can reduce deliverability and engagement.

• Limit Links in Emails: Keep the number of links in your emails to a maximum of 5, ideally 3. Too many links can make your emails look like spam.

• Mind Your Subject Lines: In subject lines, avoid excessive use of emojis, exclamation points, or capitalization. Also, steer clear of suspicious words listed here.

• Balance Text and Images: Maintain a 60:40 text-to-image ratio in emails to enhance deliverability and readability. Avoid sending image-only emails or those with too many images.

• Pre-send Spam Test: Run a pre-send spam test to ensure your emails land in subscribers' inboxes and not their spam folders.

• Blacklist Check: Regularly check if your IP or domain is blacklisted, which could prevent some subscribers from receiving your emails.

• Authentication Setup: Set up DKIM, SPF, and DMARC to increase the likelihood of your emails being delivered to the primary tab of a subscriber’s inbox.

• Evaluate Campaign Quality: Analyze the quality of your email campaigns, including your flow emails, before sending them out.

• Dedicated Sending Domain: Use a dedicated sending domain associated with your brand rather than your email provider (e.g., klaviyoemail.com).

• Whitelisting Instructions: Encourage subscribers to whitelist your email address for improved deliverability, for example, by sending an animated GIF showing your email moving to the Primary tab in Gmail.

• Link Functionality Check: Ensure all links in your emails are functional by sending a preview email to yourself and testing each link.

• Avoid Buying Email Lists: Refrain from purchasing email lists, as it can harm your deliverability and IP reputation.

• Consider Double Opt-In: If you're still facing deliverability issues, think about implementing a double opt-in for all your forms.
