Congratulations on finishing our warm-up section in our Email Basic Setting! Here's our checklist:
Automated Flows Activation: Begin by creating and activating automated flows, such as abandoned cart and post-purchase sequences. These automated flows lay the foundation for targeted communication with your subscribers.
Content-Based Warm-Up Emails: Initiate the warm-up phase with content-based emails that provide value to your subscribers rather than focusing solely on promotional content. This approach helps build trust before introducing sales-oriented messages.
Initial Warm-Up Segment: Send the first set of warm-up emails to a few thousand profiles, starting with the segment that demonstrated the highest engagement in the past. If historical data is unavailable, choose a random subset of a few thousand profiles.
Engaged Segment Progression: Begin your first campaign by targeting the most recently engaged segment, such as those active in the last 30 days. If the open rate surpasses 15%, proceed to the next step. If not, refine the subject line and/or content and resend until the 15% benchmark is achieved.
Gradual Segment Expansion: Once you achieve a consistent open rate of at least 15%, gradually extend your campaigns to larger engaged segments, such as those active in the last 60 days. Continue expanding the segments until you reach the 'engaged in the last 180 days' segment.
Monitoring Open Rates: If the open rate falls below 15% at any point, revert to sending emails to a smaller, more engaged segment. This ensures that your emails are consistently well-received and maintains a positive engagement trend.
